Efren Jojo Lavina, Jr., is the concurrent Head of the Corporate Security and Safety Group of the Lina Group of Companies, a conglomerate comprised of 17 companies in the field of logistics, air freight forwarding, warehousing, airlines, waste management, information technology, events management, call centre and business information provider, media and entertainment, among others. J.Lavina is a Bachelor of Law degree holder, an accomplished security practitioner, risk assessor and a fraud examiner. He is also a former officer of the governments’ intelligence agency and an extensive stint in the hotel security industry. He is now the current President of the International Society of Crime Prevention Practitioner (ISCPP), Phil Chapter and the Vice-President of Asian Anti-Counterfeit Association, Phil. Chapter.

Operations Manager
An International Crime Prevention Specialist with aviation security training, Jomar Sarmiento, handles FedEx/Air21’s security requirements and security personnel deployment including its massive trucking and vehicle security operations. He continuously administers the internal audit program for the ISO re-certification of the client companies, including Airfreight2100. A former Detachment Commander (DC) of the Cultural Center of the Philippines, Jomar also managed the deployment of security guards of the Phil. Airlines (PAL) covering Terminal 1 and 2. He is a member of the Safety Association of the Philippines, Asian Anti-Counterfeit Association and the current treasurer of the International Society of Crime Prevention Practitioner.

An experienced banker and credit analyst and a well known security dog breeder, Elmer Cepeda is a former off-shore Security Manager, handling 600 strong security personnel, 80 detection dogs and 50 security/patrol dogs in Papua New Guinea for Border Patrol, Civil Aviation and Customs. He is an international certified K9 handler, trainer and evaluator and an international certified Dog Psychologist. He is also a member of the Technical Working Group on K9 matters for PNP-CSG/SAGSD Camp Crame and a former international Finance and Credit Analyst in Australia and Papua New Guinea.

His strong expertise includes over twenty years of dog training experience in all areas of specialist working dogs applications including the first termite detection dog to be used by the Australian Quarantine Inspection Service. His extensive experience covers the provision of dog/handler training and teams to secure assets such as Airports, Ports facilities, Industrial areas, Military High Priority Assets, VIP’s such as Prince Charles, Lady Diana, Pope John Paul II and Prime Minister Bob Hawke. He completed contracts for Australian Government Departments such as Dept. of Education, Civil Aviation Authority and NSW State Rail. He is a holder of Certificate IV Royal Australian Air Force Advanced Police Dog Handler Course, Certificate IV in Royal Australian Air Force Police Dog Handling, RAAF Police Dog Section Course Instructors Award and Certificate IV RAAF Police Dog Trainer and Handler and Kennel Management, among others. His local experience includes canine supply and training for the Philippines’ Presidential Security Group K9 Unit and its handlers training.

A license Criminologist, he handles all the clients’ requirements for investigation and requests for assistance. He is a former Detachment Commander of Caltex Philippines before his stint at the Cultural Center of the Philippines. He is well trained in latent fingerprinting and evidence gathering. A graduate of Fire Fighting and Rescue Training Course and AVSEC training course, he is also a member of the Safety Organization of the Philippines, Asian Anti-Counterfeit Association, International Society of Crime Prevention Practitioner and International Intelligence Service Society.
